Erika (she/her) actively supports the work of change-makers in many communities across the San Francisco Bay Area through her roles as a youth development professional, project manager, grant writer, event planner, health educator, student, and volunteer. Erika received her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education from San Francisco State University.

Drawing from both her professional and personal experiences, Erika has developed expertise in navigating complex education, healthcare, and social service systems, coordinating care across medical providers, home health agencies, and community-based organizations, and advocating for individuals and families accessing resources and support services.

Erika's ever-growing public health interests include youth participatory action research, community organizing, health equity, caregiving, and the school-to-workforce development pipeline and its relation to systemic racism.

Erika is currently exploring her creative identity through photography, writing, dance, food, culture and language.
